a journey long yet quiet within
tumultuous path, upheavaled soul
faded tarred… my unladen weight

bubble of happiness
was only but an illusion
bursted these eyes open mercilessly
to grim spheres of reality…

a heart frozen, this sill of ice
piece of metal… brain is numb
why does it need more pain
for life to gush through my veins?

space to grow, void to fill
some healing rain, offer me peace
